Job Title: Social Worker – MUDH Program
Location: Northern Territory, Australia (Remote & Regional Communities)
Contract Type: 6-month contract

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in Indigenous communities through the MUDH program. As a Social Worker, you will educate students on healthy relationships and sexual health awareness, while travelling to remote communities to engage youth and foster safer, more respectful environments. You’ll work within a supportive, collaborative team and gain firsthand insight into how your work contributes to the wellbeing of local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver education sessions to students on healthy relationships and sexual health awareness
  • Travel to regional and remote Indigenous communities to engage youth
  • Build meaningful relationships with youth, families, and community stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support community health initiatives

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant social work qualifications
  • Experience in health education and knowledge of sexual health issues desirable
  • Ability to work in remote environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth
